Meade ETX-80AT-TC
I have had this 'scope for some time now and I am well pleased with it although I am still struggling with the setup process. I am mainly observing the moon and taking a few photographs with my wife's Fuji Finepix compact, some of which I have posted on this forum. My next step is to get a better ca...

Re: Moon shots
Glad you like the Moon pictures. They are singles exposures, taken with a fujifinepix compact which is my wife's. The Tamron lens is in my bag of old camera equipment and I am glad you mentioned it, maybe I should dig it out and try it! Now my son has passed me by with his pictures of the Moon and s...

Re: Moon shots
Here's hoping Brian.
I can see so I suppose you can.
It's a bit big!
Do I have to post each image separately?

Re: astrophotography
Hello Brian.
No, I haven't solved my requirements yet although I have looked at a Nikon D3300 and a Canon EOS 1200D and my son is helping me search the web.
He's very good at finding things.
I am still not sure about the 'T' ring and erm the other thing.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Reflecting scopes
Hello AnnaAnna
I don't suppose you live anywhere near Wigan.
I have a Konus 500 which was a gift to me.
I now have a Meade ETX 80 so the Kous is for sale.
£50 buyer collect - this goes for anyone on here who is interested.

This is a test, I hope it works.

Good! It worked.
The last fourteen pictures are through my new Meade ETX 80, a Christmas present from my wife.
I used her Fujifinepix.

Re: Goto scopes
Thank you for the reply Brian. After quite a bit of research I made up my mind for the Meade. The Skywatcher is only a Goto if you buy the 'extra' goto device. My wife is buying the scope for me for Christmas and her budget is £200 so it has to be the Meade. I downloaded the manual and watched sever...

Goto scopes
I haven't posted on here for quite some time, Facebook and lack of sky due to a great big tree being two of the reasons. So I have a question which I have asked before but now I have revised the question. I have the possibility of buying a goto telescope and I have researched two which are:- 1. Mead...
