NoctiLucent Clouds

Seen last night at about 22.40 BST looking north from back garden while putting out some bird food.
15 minutes later they had gone.
What a beautiful sight
The bright dot is either Capella or a plane landing at Stansted

Re: Celestron CG5 Advanced GT Goto Mount

Thanks Brian for your comments I have found Skyhawk's tone and comments generally unpleasant and combatative. I was trying to be helpful and I can assure him that my testosterone levels are actually very low and I am taking medication for it. He's not the only one to have problems with his health an...

Re: Celestron CG5 Advanced GT Goto Mount

Thanks Brian
I'm not sure what Skyhawk wants to mount on it but I don't think I could lift 15 kilos anymore!

Re: Celestron CG5 Advanced GT Goto Mount

According to my paperwork the load capacity is 15kg

I just want someone who will use it to have it as it is sitting in my shed (and in various boxes around the house).

One way around the "message disappearing into the ether" problem is to compose the message in notepad, then when you are satisfied with it just copy and paste it into the forum box.
That way if things go t*ts up you've still got a copy to resend.

what about EP, i know there are various cleaners out there, which are the best . I've found the best way is to breathe on the lens and wipe it with a soft clean cloth, the tail of your shirt will do at a pinch. I do binos and camera lenses the same way. If they are greasy (like my spectacles), dilu...
