See here http://www.licha.de/photo_reference.php?id=2&val=Canon%20EOS%2010D My advice would be, you have an excellent ccd in that kit, far better than you will find in a web c...

I would be very suprised if someone doesn't make a t-ring for your camera. As i said, perhaps give jessops a call Somebody does make a t-ring for it. They are called Olympus and they charge a fortune! :( Apparently some people in Japan have made some and selling them on e-bay. I’m not a fan of e-...

Ok, i found this on the yahoo groups from deimos's link above. The quickest solution is to get a 4/3 to OM adapter from Olympus (MF-1) and an old OM T-ring adaptor from any photographic store. Then you will need something to connect the OM T-ring adapter to your scope. and / or i found this (same th...

GordonCopestake , You’ve just made my day. I thought I had to buy that Olympus one for £99.99. :) I have never seen the camera specific t-mounts sold on that site. Thank you. My telescope is has a 1.25 inch eyepiece so that will save me £10 as well. Again, many thanks. Deimos , Thanks for that ...

Hello Deimos , The camera is an excellent camera for general photography, it was by far my choice as I had a lot of compatible Olympus equipment. In my opinion the camera is very well built and feels good to hold in comparison to other similar cameras, to explain this to other people, this may seem...

Olympus e-500 – Attaching it to my telescope.

Hello all, I have recently purchased an Olympus e-500. My question is, does anybody know what equipment I now need to purchase to enable me to attach the camera to my Skywatcher 130m telescope? I have tried looking around at different sites and have an idea but I don’t want to spend money unnecess...

Thanks for the mention Deimos. I haven't participated in this project as yet.

This is the BOINC software that runs other projects including SETI.

Hello and welcome flackmagnet.

I have used www.metcheck.com recently. It seems to be reasonably accurate but like Davep says no site is ever 100% accurate.

Here is a link straight to York. http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/tod ... pcode=york
