Oh and to add to that for more confirmation. Ive just been looking at a picture of Uranus and the pole of the planet that faces the Sun (because Uranus spins on its side roughly if you didnt know) is distinctly white/yellow whereas the rest of the planet is blue. So maybe Saturns southern hemisphere...

Hello Everyone :) This topic intrigued me so i did some web-searching and found this on the NASA website which seems to answer this question : Blue Skies on Saturn No-one fully understands why....personally i like Robert Scagell's methane/temprature answer combined with planetary tilt and clouds. :)...

ive found lots of info on the net about this... so all is ok :) now i just need to find an air compressor to blow that pesky dust off.. or i may even go for cleaning the primary mirror with distilled water..once i get the new knobs and springs... still need to find a solution to remove fingerprints ...
