Hi Andy, Same here mate. Have had that much cloud and snow was begining to think I was going down with Snow Blindness. Managed one night with a little clear space between clouds on Thursday 2nd march but temp was -3 and dropping. Since then, (Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!) Rain, Rain, Rain. Thinking of swapp...

Could be Les... But had a great night last night. Clear as a bell for the first time for two weeks. Got some really good views of the Cresent Moon and took several pics (have to be processed yet)Part of Mare Crisium, was really good Mons Usov, Prom Agarum, and part of Mare Angium, well seen together...

Still nothing doing up here Snowi and hail tonight Caught a briefe glips of new moon just before clouds thickened not worth bringinf the big eye out though. temo still droping as I write this and snow still falling.Ah well back to the fire.

Clear Night at Last

Well! I finally got a clear night up here in North Wales last night. Out came the Dob 200 and a bean feast of Deep Sky. Saturn scrubbed up very well Cassini Division showing quite clearly and some surface markings observed and two of the satellites; and WOW!!! the "Bee Hive"....what can one say? M42...
