Decided to look at this, last night, as I saw it referred to in one of he other posts on this board - thanks, Brian Livesey! I didn't even realise that Rigel was a double. That said, I have now read in Wikipedia that it is thought to be a system of three to five stars.

It was an easy split in the 14 inch Dob, even at 65x. Increasing the magnification to 200x, it was an enchanting sight, with Rigel `A' so bright and `B' so small, dim and tight.

Love the skies!
