I noted a pair of bright sundogs in the evening sky through thin light cloud as the sun was going down. The sun dog to the left hand (east side) of the solar disk was quite vivid. The sun dog to the right hand side (west side) was not as pronounced but was there. You could also make out a halo.
I managed a couple of photographs with the phone, but they don't do the colours justice.
