Large display this morning.
01.40 UT to 02.25 UT.
Moderately bright bands.
5 degrees to max 19 degrees elevation.
Blue white.
Azimuth 340 to 035 degrees. Blocked by trees and houses both ends.
Took photos but old camera high ISO noisy. Just for measurement and record.
Nice.

Also Venus, Mars, Jupiter and moons in binoculars.

2018 June 22/23 01.44 UT to 02.07 UT.
Extensive NLC display
Elevation 4 degrees to maximum 24 degrees.
Azimuth 350 degrees to 040 degrees both ends blocked by buildings/trees.

Beautiful bright well separated parallel bands azimuth 030 to 040 degrees.

Unaided eyes and 8x32 binocular.

Also bright complete 22 degree halo 13.45 UT to 13.58 UT.
Cloud broken 20,000ft 23C dewpoint 1C visibility 50km 1027 hPa.
No other halos seen.

2018 June 24/25 01.14 UT to 02.06 UT

Medium bright bands to a maximum 21 degree elevation.
Azimuth 350 to 040. Buildings/trees block view both ends.

Unaided eyes and 8x32 binocular.

Took 9 WA photos, should have used narrower field.

Thanks Cliff,
It is not as easy to observe in the early hours as when I was younger.
I also had a dentist trip last week. Not as good as your visit. It is like keeping an old car working.

Another NLC observation.

2018 June 25/26 01.11 UT to 02.17 UT
Initially weak to 5 degree maximum elevation.
But by 02.17 UT another major display.
Many bands, small veil.
Transparency good.
Extensive bright display to 28 degree maximum elevation.
Azimuth 335 degrees to 035 degrees. Buildings/trees blocking both ends.
Getting brighter, higher and more extensive with time, but I had to pack it in.
Only slept 3 1/2 hours.

8x32 binocular and unaided eyes.
Took photos also.
