Wednesday 10/10/18: 1749-1756 BST (and before & after). Observed Jupiter as it slid down behind the various cables of the pylons on Southwick Hill, from and through the window-glass with the Acuter 65mm scope. Balanced my camera on top of the scope and took a dozen photographs of this, (the time given are from the camera). A interesting series of pictures resulted! The setting time was a bit later than the last photograph. Also anything 'setting time' behind Southwick Hill is always considerably sooner that actual setting time. Regards maf.

Skyhawk. Please explain "where?"." Where did I balance the camera?" Or "where are the photographs?" Or " from what location? As I was watching in planet setting, I simply rested the camera on the top of the scope and snapped away. The telescope on a tripod was used just as a resting spot for the camera. Regards maf
