Post subject:  Jovian Moons

28/1/19, Monday, 0705 UT. Jupiter & Venus now only just within the fov of the 10x50 binoculars with Jupiter only slightly lower than Venus. However this was the first opportunity for me to see the Jovian Moons from the back garden using spotting scope on tripod this apparition, the planet being sufficiently high up while the sky was just dark enough. Used Nikon 15-45x60 on a tripod. Io (to the left - east), Ganymede (far out to the right-west), Europa and Callisto between Ganymede and Jupiter, Callisto being a bit lower and "out of line". Regards maf.
