Finally managed to nail Venus and Saturn (plus a star, pi Sagittarii) in the same fov, in fact this was my first sighting of Saturn this apparition. Separated by slightly more than half the fov of the 15-45x60 Nikon spotter used at x15. Used zoomed up to see the Saturnian Rings. Also used the handheld 10x50 binocular. This Tuesday morning , 19/02/19, 0630-0640 UT. Saturn was down to the right of Venus, the star above both making an isoceles - almost an equilateral- triangle. Jupiter was far far up to the right and the brilliant Full Moon was going down over Southwick Hill in the west. Regards maf.
