 Post subject: MARS with a difference.

As heading suggests. Here's the planet Mars. But set amongst the field of stars that are near by.

The star to the left is at magnitude +8.4. Not sure how deep this shot goes.

Canon 350D
ISO 800
162 secs exposure
F/5.6
200mm FL.
tracked with astrotracTT320X.
Poor LP meant I had to reduce to B&W. Shot in RAW.

Just took this image when freezing fog came in, stopping my obs session 30 minutes into it. The first clear skies since 3rd Jan. Looking good for tonight.
