Done with my usual set up, that I'm now growing used to and am very satisfied with - the Celestron C8 with two reducers and the Altair GPcam mono V2. Captured using APT and guided with PHD2. I used the colour from a previous DSLR shot and layered it in using Photoshop. This is a stack of 5x300 secs and 4x600 secs subs. There are no darks or flats but in this instance the former would have helped. I normally use dithering but because the image filled the frame here that wasn't really an option. So the image was a bit noisy, though I've done my best to clean it up. The transparency was not as good as it can be at my location. I noticed when the Moon rose it was extremely red. I believe this is due to dust from the Sahara? :D

Celestron Nexstar 8SE, Ioptron CEM 25P mount
Altair Astro 102 ED refractor with Lunt B600 CaK diagonal
Coronado PST DS, Daystar Quark
ZWO ASI120MM camera, Canon 1000D (astro modified), Starlight Express SXV H9-C.
