So called "Storm Ciara" arrived last-night.
Not quite the tremendous typhoons or hurricane that some people get but fairly rough by ordinary UK standards. - it demolished three of our garden wooden fence panels.
Whatever, mid-afternoon there was a break in the clouds & rain allowing me to observe & image the Sun in White Light & Hydrogen Alpha. W.L. revealed no sunspots, but Ha revealed super-granulations & a few tiny faint filaments, and brighter Ha exposures show fairly small proms on North & South limbs & taller very faint flimsy prominences West limb.
Three images now attached :-
Best wishes from Cliff
