Well this has got to be a first a tweaked image retweaked, then retweaked again lol, The more i look at your tweaked shot James the more i like it, so i took the image back to psp9 and tried chromatic abberation on the rings, it doesnt always work but i have (if you compare the images ) managed to remove some of the false colour on the rings, i also smoothed just a tad to remove a little grain caused by the retweak,

James if you dont mind i would like to talk with you about precisly what you did ( in detail what software ect ) so could i email you ? it might be too lenghty to chat here, many thanks for taking the time to have a go at my image much appreciated

Neil, your lunar images are stunning, I am sure Peter Grego, the SPA Lunar section director would be amazed by them, and would be happy to publish them in the sections news letter 'LUNA', and in the SPA news circulars from time to time. Peter can be contacted via www.luna@popastro.com.

Regards,

Mike

I hate to sound like a spoil-sport when there's such nice images going around, but can I make a polite reminder about an item in the gallery posting guidelines?
Keep the size of the image to no more than 55Kb. This is to ensure that they don't take too long to display on screen for people using 56K dial-up connections. You can always include an appropriately labelled link to higher resolution images, if you prefer.

The images started out from the begining of the post smaller ( though i should have checked file size even on these ) then i posted some larger ones, nobody mentioned it , so i assumed there wasnt a problem, because i cant be botherd to check file sizes everytime i post, i think im going to have to use links all the time, i have been using some links here in the past, just wanted to post direct, my apologies, links from now on i promise.
