I've not got much experience of these, but I think Flickr is possibly the best of them. There are others around, although these three are the ones that sprung to mind first.

there's a group Davep instigated a while back on flickr for spa people too (named society for popular astronomy). If you do a search, it should turn up (should you choose to use that site)

the site you quote is still there (just posted some pics in it) once in flickr just type in astronomy, and a host of sites will appear, the SPA being one.
