Spring Moonwatch write up part 2 and 3

Post by Kaustav »

Just a quick note to say that Spring Moonwatch week is now over and the WOLAS event at the Ruislip Lido was very successful. The last night of observing was very well attended. You can read about the previous two nights of Spring Moonwatch on my write up.

This was the first time I've taken my telescope anywhere outside the house and it was a real buzz to be amongst so many amateur astronomers with their telescopes set up and speaking to members of the public who were all very enthusiastic and full of good questions.

Regards,

Kaustav

Hi Kaustav,
Great report.
As Cliff said you can look back on this event with great satisfaction knowing that you have shown many people (whose appetite you have whetted) the wonders of the night sky with some very interesting information.
