Back from the armchair

Hi all

Just logged on the forum for the first time in over two years due to work commitments and finding a very nice girl (now the future Mrs Smith) to spend time with

The astronomy bug never left but finding time to do anything was and sometimes still is hard to find. Even the telescope got moved into the attic hopefully rescue it tomorrow.

Hopefully i will be able to resume my SPA membership to so any links will be great to help me rejoin.

Hopefully talk soon and maybe share some great observations with you all.

Congrats Mark. I think im at the beginning of a similar situation. Found that someone special and I can see astro taking a back seat for a while. Of course, like you , it will never go away completely.

Sadly my other half is not interested i did manage to convince her to go on a star gazing trip during a recent visit to Egypt last month. i got the feeling she wasn’t impressed.
