Hi im new to astronomy and telescopes and looking for astronomy clubs in taunton,somerset,uk.looking for like minded people. :?: :?: thank you!

Look at Federation Astronomical societies, link above.
Recently member found club near Crewkerne I think.

There is I think one in Crewkerne, but as there are two of you already in Taunton you could start your own club in Taunton.

I know the one in Sidmouth very well, it is fantastic, very high up in the sky too, bit of a hard job getting to it I must admit, we think it was a great place to be, on wet or clear nights it is always a welcome to go there.
I lived close to the area for many years, so seeing I have not been there for a while now as I moved to Suffolk not sure what the venue is or opening times now.

Lol thanks, yeah lol we could start our own lol :-) but i feel admirers of space and even science are rare at best

Must admit....although there are a lot of clubs around there does seem to be immense room for improvement and more clubs needed
