Dark Matter STScI 2011 May Symposium

Post by david entwistle »

The Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) are hosting the 2011 symposium and the subject this year will be Dark Matter.
The 2011 May Symposium will take place May 2-5, 2011 at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. The topic of this year's symposium will be "Dark Matter", and will cover a wide range of topics in the areas of both astrophysics and particle physics.
You can browse the abstracts of the talks and posters on the website. The website also suggests that presentations will be webcast live from the event - nothing listed at the moment though...

Dear David
Thanks for the info but I cann't get very worked up about this Dark Matter symposium event - I'd probably find trying to follow it a bit traumatically intensely serious scientific anyway. Although I hope to read more edible acconts in the various scientific magazines in due course.
Best wishes from Cliff
