Darker than Dark ?

Post by Cliff »

Dear al(L)
According to "New Scientist" 28th April - 'A Curious Case of Missing Darkness" - A new survey of stars within 13,000 light years of Earth seems to have failed to find any sign of Dark Matter. Obviously this is not the definitive end of the story, but the implications could be that Dark Matter might not exist and MOND (MOdified Newtontian Dynamics) may rule the Universe.
Best wishes from Cliff

This is reminiscent of the search for the elusive aether. Discarding it opened the door to a new physics.
