The GUARDIAN article was interesting. Years ago, car windscreens were coated in spattered insects, but not anymore. Millions of cars have ploughed through them to vastly reduce insect numbers. Another example of the pathology of light pollution, this time emanating from mass-motoring.

This was an interesting read. I have never thought about the impact of light pollution to the insects population before. Thanks for sharing this useful info!
