Twilight's crescent Moon

Post by brian livesey »

There was a brief respite from the Atlantic fronts in yesterday's evening twilight, to observe the crescent Moon in its pale serenity. The curve of the crescent was reminiscent of a wind-filled sail on an Arab dhow.
Five Canada geese flew in leisurely formation below the waxing Moon, on their way to the nearby bird reservation. Then, in total contrast, came the storm with its roaring wind and lashing rain.. .

You were reminding me of my time in Oman, Brian, before you spoilt it and mentioned the rain sweeping in!
