It is possibly unfortunate that the poll divides supporters of human spaceflight but I plumped for 1. But I'll take whatever helps take Man on what Stephen Hawking called his destiny to the stars.

Russian rocketry pioneer Konstantin Tsiolkovsky put it rather well nearly a century ago: "The Earth is the cradle of mankind - but one cannot stay in a cradle forever."

LOL. That did occur to me!

And yes, I'm a bit of a media tart. As a freelance, I'll take the work from wherever it comes! :-) But anything that helps popularise science...

Just click one of the buttons to the left, Brian, the bullet points.

Each poll option begins with a little white circle on the left, like a bullet point, that's where you click to register your vote. Are you able to see them at the top of the thread?

That means you may have accidentally voted before. Once you have voted that's it! If the results are on view then you have already voted. Or there's a glitch. I see that there are no votes in the "No" option.

Do you see the poll results, Brian or just the list of questions/options?

When I clicked on the "No,stick with probes and robots" bullet, the vote didn't register in the % box next to it. Isn't it supposed to show? :?

I've set up a test poll in this forum for you to check what you see and what happens when you vote. :-)
