I hope I am not being awkward making the following comments ?
However, I had a problem posting my recent image of the Sun. I had typed my initially intended post (ie about my 17th March Sun) but when I tried to attach my Sun image - it failed to attach. I then made a couple more un-successful attempts to add the same image without success. Needless to say I then assumed the image might be too big a file size. So I just reduced the size of my image. ( the new size then being less than the 256K ). However, just to frustrate me a bit more my original intended text message was lost - so my final post was shorter. I bet most people are pleased about that !!!!!
However, I think my originally intended image size was just the same as all the Sun images I had previously posted . So I am a bit curious - has the acceptable image size been recently been reduced ?

Cliff, sorry to hear you have experienced problems posting your solar images. The size limit for images has not changed, so I'm unable to account for the problem that you experienced.

It is frustrating when things don't go as expected, so thank you for persevering, so that we did get the opportunity to see your wonderful image.
